I have been offering man-to-man sessions since 2006. I find the individualized instructions more interesting, effective, and personalized.
I don't really understand why we can easily say that a child is autistic without understanding his/her personality completely.
We can never tell that a child who has difficulty in speaking is already autistic without assessing his/her skills, behaviours, attitudes, intelligences based on the Multiple Intelligences Theory of Dr. Howard Gardner which has been modified by me. I added more intelligences which I want to see in a person. We can also never tell that a child is autistic without examining his genes, his foods, and medical history.
This morning, September 1st, 2012, I had a four-year old son who repeats my utterances, hardly recognizes letters, interchanges letters and sounds, doesn't understand instructions, can't really follow my instructions, can't write well, etc., etc., BUT I STILL HAVE TO DIAGNOSE THE CAUSES OF these developmental delays. As an educator and a language training specialist, I have learned that it is paramount to examine first the child thoroughly and to determine first the contributing factors why the child behaves as if he or she is autistic before I can tell that a child is having autism spectrum or autism disorder.
I have learned that autism is genetic. I also learned that autism is caused by a lot of factors which include food and medication.
So why should I conclude that this child who came to me this morning is autistic?
Ahah. Never should I conclude that a child has autism syndrome UNLESS the child has been with me for at least a year. After training and the child really cannot speak well, cannot develop his/her skills and intelligences, then that's the right time I can say that the child is really autistic. BUT I will still recommend the child to undergo GENETIC TESTING or DNA TEST.
NO MATTER HOW OTHER SPECIALISTS OR TEACHERS SAY THAT THE CHILD IS AUTISTIC, I WON'T BELIEVE IT UNLESS IT IS PROVEN BY MY OWN ASSESSMENT, JUDGMENT, EVALUATIONS, ANALYSES, AND TRAINING.
I have mastered English Language Teaching. I learned when a child learns to coo, to babble, to enunciate some sounds, and to utter a few words even without understanding.
I learned when a child starts uttering some words, when a child puts together words to construct a sentence, and when a child starts to understand.
Every stage of development, there's an equivalent skill or ability.

I was hospitalized in 2002 because of congenital heart disease and kidney failure. My body system totally bogged down. I actually "died", clinically dead for 20 minutes. The nephrologist attending to me that year told me that "I had the chance of 50 percent survival rate. So I told Dr. Ong to release me because my Father in Heaven could give me 100% life or 100% death. There's no 50-50 chance of surviving with my Father, and there's no 50-50 chance of dying, too.
Then before my brother Bern went to Vietnam to work as an electrical and mechanical engineer that year, he prayed me over to our Father. I remember my brother prayed to our Father to have mercy on me; that if HE wanted to take my life away, HE could take it at once since I already have spent decades of my life being sick; that I have been suffering so much and a lot because of my sicknesses; and that if GOD would still want to give me life since HE knows that I have been using my life in serving HIM, HE has all the powers to give my life back at once so I could go back to serving HIM.
I remember the miracle that happened on that day when my brother prayed, but I can't remember the exact date. I was not in the right disposition to remember everything. I was vegetable.
Before my brother Bern took his flight on that night, he sent messages to my brother Arthuro and sister Marivic; that if they would want to see me alive, they should go to my place at once.
Arthuro, my therapist brother who was living in Bulacan province that time came at once, as soon as he received the message of our brother Bern. He gave me a therapy which he learned from Japan. My brother Arthuro gave me a therapy far different from the therapies being given by other Filipino therapists. It's a combination of therapy and reflexology of different countries especially Japan and Thailand which in the later days also became part of my knowledge.
Every one who came to my place the next morning was shocked. My sister Marivic who I have been helping through these years even uttered, "Sabi ni Bern eh mamamatay ka na. Yan ba ang mamamatay na? Kumakanta ka pa?" (Bern told us that you are dying. Is that dying? You are still singing?) That's real. I felt that GOD heard the supplications of my brother Bern so I felt there was a force pushing me to get up. And as soon as I got up, the first thing that came to my mind was singing. I was afraid of losing my voice which eventually got lost, I suffered for the next 7 years of my life. I lost my voice. I lost everything that GOD had given me while I was still in the womb of my mom. That day after the prayer of my brother Bern, the ONLY THING THAT CAME TO MY MIND WAS TO REGAIN MY VOICE BECAUSE I SHOULD STILL BE USING IT FOR GLORIFYING MY FATHER IN HEAVEN. SO I got the microphone and turned on the karaoke system. When my sister Marivic and her daughter Hannagae came, they saw me sitting on my bed with my legs stretched since my right leg was still not moving while I was singing "You Needed Me". Yes. I was singing right after the day when my brother Bern asked our Father to heal me. Then the next days were all milestones and great histories of my life. To make the story short, I totally regained my voice in 2010 after I prayed to my Father during the hours of our worship services while sitting in the choir loft to give back to me the voice that is pleasing to HIM, the voice which I would be using in glorifying HIS MOST HOLY NAME!
Singing and music have been part of the therapies which I MYSELF ADMINISTERED TO MY DEAD BODY, PLUS THE PHYSICAL THERAPIES of my brother Arthuro, and most especially the LOVE AND MERCY OF THE HOLY FATHER, I AM NOW BACK IN THE CHOIR LOFT TO SING PRAISES UNTO HIM.
In the morning of today, August 20th, 2012, I went out of my training centre to give a speech therapy to a stroke patient who lives in Quezon City, Philippines.
I FELT I WAS CRITICIZED BECAUSE I APPLIED SINGING IN THE SPEECH THERAPY THAT I GAVE TO A 57-year-old woman WHO IS STILL BEDRIDDEN. I tried to help the patient to open her mouth and to move her tongue naturally. I also wanted to activate her brain and to rejuvenate her senses. But I felt like I was mocked and I saw some disapproval grimaces from their faces. Anyway, I don't need an audience when I give a speech therapy, but they were all around me this morning.
AMAZING! I thought I was the ONLY ONE USING MUSIC AND SINGING IN THE SPEECH THERAPIES. I can't say that they are copying me because they have this audio while I don't have any audios or videos of my speech therapies BECAUSE I DON'T WANT SOMEONE TO BE MY COPYCAT.

I've been using the above techniques since I was a child. I was 11 years old when I started to handle a church choir. I was not a speech trainer yet. But I already applied the techniques in these videos in treating out of tune voices, dissonance, and discordance. If they are effective in treating singing defects, they are more effective in treating speech defects. I still use them now in the choir to have great resonance and vibrancy.
To my DISMAY, NO ONE AMONG THE FILIPINOS HAVE BELIEVED IN ME. After one day or two days of their speech therapies and speech training with me, they stopped. But I'm happy to note that foreign students welcomed my approaches especially Chinese and Korean students who couldn't really produce good sounds of the English Language, they still continue treating their speech defects with me VIA SKYPE.
My FIRST CLIENT FOR SPEECH THERAPY was a Korean student, a graduate of Accountancy in Seoul, Korea, in 2002 before I became dying of my congenital heart disease and a kidney failure. He was a fresh graduate from the Korean university that time, but couldn't find a job because he was always rejected by all companies where he applied for because of his physical and speech defects. I was teaching then at an International School here in the Philippines, teaching IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, BUSINESS ENGLISH, RESEARCH, THESIS WRITING, CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH, IDIOMS AND WRITING, SPOKEN ENGLISH, AND SPEECH to our foreign students; Russian, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese.
This guy came to my class one day begging me to accept him because no one wanted to accept him in other English Language classes because of his defects. I was then a consultant to that school, a Listening Department Head, and a Hiring Director.
This guy heard of my abilities since I had been teaching in that international school since 2000. I resigned when I started to establish my own in 2006.
I accepted him, started to do lots of therapies and English Language learning activities. To make the story short, he came back to Korea after 6 months. He said he would try to look for a job back in Korea. To make the story short again, he came back to me after 2 years in the same school thanking me for he was able to pass the interview despite his physical defects. His speech was clear. And he was able to land as a public accountant of a bank owned by the Korean government.
