Creativity is the ability of the mind to form mental images. It is the activity of the mind that needs thinking and imagination.
Imagination is the ability of the mind to deal with reality through its creative power. It's a pre-cognitive competence that leads to developing one's thinking skill which is part of one's cognition.
Therefore, creativity and imagination work altogether to develop cognitive abilities. It's a must that creativity and imagination should be developed in a learner.
